Basic Life Support

Course Information

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers trains students to quickly recognize multiple life threatening emergencies, administer high quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide effective use of an automated external defibrillator or AED.  

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers is intended for healthcare professionals and other professionals that require knowledge in basic life support skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR, automated external defibrillator or AED use, and other cardiovascular emergencies. This course meets requirements for healthcare professionals including; CNA's, Doctors, EMT's, Firefighters, Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
