Course Information

The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED trains students to provide CPR and use an AED in a safe and effective manner. 

Heartsaver CPR/AED is intended for anyone with little to no medical training that requires a course completion card for their job or other requirements such as; Teachers, Daycare Employees, Coaches, Police Officers, and Construction Workers. Also anyone who would like the knowledge and skills.

Course Overview

  • The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED is an in person class taught by certified American Heart Association Instructors. 

  • This course is approximately 3.5 hours in length.

  • Video based course with instructor lead skills practice and scenarios throughout the course based on your work setting. 

  • Skills and optional written examination at end of course.

  • When to preform CPR

  • How to preform hight quality adult CPR

  • How to preform CPR with help from others.

  • Providing breaths via mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-mask.

  • AED use for adults

  • AED use for child *

  • Preform CPR on infants* 

  • How to help a choking adult or child 

  • How to help a choking infant*
